A Summer wedding at beautiful Stowe

I work closely with a dear friend in the wedding industry, to create beautiful wedding shoots. This particular shoot was a photography training day, my friend Kate is the trainer and a superb photographer. She asked me to supply flowers for the shoot and that they theme was a little boho chic, quite natural and informal. I decided to make a simple headdress using Ivy on it's natural vine with tiny Hydrangea heads secured to the leaves, with clusters of Gypsophelia for a light airy feel. The bouquet was made up of Hydrangea, Dahlia, Astilbe, Lysimachia, Poppy seed heads, Brunia and all kinds of lovely things. The buttonhole was a Dahlia on natural stem, with foliages to finish and tied with natural twine.
Here are a few images from this beautiful shoot, the bride and groom are a genuine couple and married earlier this year.
Lucky for them, this was the result of the training day...

With thanks to Kate Hopewell-Smith for the stunning images and thanks to Ann of Ann's Bridal Room for the use of the beautiful wedding dress. Make-up by Cat from Make-up For Brides
Flowers by Gingerlily...of course!
