Notley Abbey romance for Gemma & John

I'm super proud to be showing you this stunning wedding at Notley Abbey.

This is, without doubt, one of my all time favourite weddings. Classic style done perfectly.

I first met Gemma about a year before the big day. Excitedly she couldn't want to meet for a consultation to start planning the flowers.
Gemma adores flowers and they were a big part of her day - not big as in, enormous displays everywhere, just that she loves flowers and wanted them to look beautiful.

Thankfully, she also appreciates great photography and booked the fabulous Faye Cornhill - A sigh of relief to know my flowers would be photographed beautifully!

Gemma opted for a gentle palette of white, ivory and blush pink with the tiniest amount of foliage to create a romantic flow to her bouquet.

The ceremony was dressed with two large glass vase displays sat on clear plinths, for a sleek look.

Big blousy blooms were the order of the day. Cut glass vases were scattered around the main part of the house and a collection of vases with a larger central display were admired by guests as they dined.

The top table was filled with a collection of vases filled with beautiful blooms, mixed with tea lights for a truly romantic feel.

Take a look through this beautiful wedding and I hope you love it as much as I do.

Oh and the dress! Simply breathtaking.  Gemma found her dream dress at Xquisite Bridal in Leighton Buzzard. It's just gorgeous!

Thank you for looking

Easter romance at The Dairy, Waddesdon

I'm so excited to have received these beautiful images from one of this year's gorgeous brides!

Tracey & Richard had a perfectly themed Easter wedding, including the most exquisite white painted, lazer cut egg shells!  The couple had come across these eggs whilst on holiday the previous year and decided to bring them home to incorporate into their big day.
We carefully added the eggs to the floral decorations, including Tracey's bouquet.

Every detail was beautifully thought out, Tracey had a clear idea of what she wanted and we're so pleased we were able to bring her ideas to life.

I hope you enjoy these images, we loved working on this and so many other weddings this year, I can't wait to share more with you.

I'm back! Where have I been for months??

Well I'll tell you...moving house, moving studio, renovations, decor design AND of course, flowers flowers flowers!
It's been a hectic start to the year since moving studio and home in January this year, but things are looking great! We have more space and more love and enthusiasm than ever for our industry.
With flower trends evolving and people becoming more aware of just how beautiful and precious flowers are, the industry is booming.
It isn't easy, but nothing is! Where there is passion, there is beauty and there are results.

So, enough waffling...I just wanted to hop on the blog and say hi!

Here's a few snippets of what else we've been up to so far in 2016...

Sam and Sandino's fabulous Italian wedding at The Walled Garden, Luton Hoo

Well, where do I begin...

I've been looking forward to sharing this wedding, it's such a classic, romantic and very beautiful wedding, with its pastel pinks, fluffy Peonies and champagne bridesmaid dresses!

Samantha and Sandino had been to a couple of other weddings where I had done the flowers, but without realising! They found me online and were thrilled to hear I'd actually done some of their friends weddings. We began chatting about all the elements of the day, where they would need flowers and set about making a plan.

Sam loves Peonies and having a May wedding, the timing couldn't have been better for Peony season. Champagne, blush and pink were the colours for the day and Sam was keen to stay away from foliage to keep a very crisp, clean look.

The bridesmaids carried posies of Peonies and touches of Gypsophila. Sam carried a large posy of mainly white Peonies with blush and mid pink Peonies and Roses.

The flower girl carried a delicate posy of Gypsophila

The Church was dressed with posies of Gypsophila with a centre blush Rose and ribbon to trail. Either side of the alter we placed large urns filled with Hydrangea, Roses and Peonies.

The posies used on the ends of the Pews, we then transferred to the backs of chairs. The large urns were placed either side of the top table.

Crystal candelabras were hired from Wedding Day Hire and we dressed these with beautiful large headed blush Roses and luxurious balls of Hydrangea, Roses and Peonies.

The top table was decorated with a low spray of flowers to compliment the other displays.

This stunning cake by Jamie Bakes Cakes was topped off with a simple yet very full posy of blush and pale pink Roses and Spray Roses.
