Carlene & Daniel's 'Romance and Roses' at The Dairy, Waddesdon.

After a rather large gap in the blogging, I'm back with a wedding I've been dying to share!
With thanks to Mark Sisley Photography, I'm pleased to show you images of a rather stunning wedding...

Another beautiful day at The Dairy, Waddesdon Manor estate, back in May. The weather was perfect and the styling for the day was full of lace and pearls with key colour trend for the year - blush & dusky pink with creams and ivory.

Carlene opted for a neat teardrop design, ensuring we didn't make this too wide as she has a petite frame and didn't want to cover too much of her dress.

Carlene and Daniel were both very enthusiastic about the flowers and wanted the table centrepieces to bring their romantic theme to life, using bold blooms of Roses, Peonies and Hydrangea, draped with pearls. Opting for tall conical vases, Daniel wanted a slightly contemporary look, but was very keen to add something unusual to the display. To continue the theme of pearls, we decided to add strands of pearls inside the vase with individual Rose buds suspended.

I hope you enjoy viewing these, as much as we enjoyed working on this beautiful wedding.

Congrats Carlene & Daniel! xx

Olivia & Nick at Stoke Place, Stoke Poges, Bucks

This was my first visit to Stoke Place and I wasn't disappointed, describing itself as 'a modern country house with 4 star luxury' and set in acres of beautiful grounds, I fell in love with this venue.

Olivia and Nick celebrated their wedding last November and opted for crisp whites and ivory flowers with stunning Lily of the Valley as a feature of the bouquets.
With varying shapes and interesting flowers for texture, there was little need for foliage, we added touches of silver Brunia for a wintery feel.

The tables were decorated with glass footed bowls, keeping the design low but off the table so you could clearly see the flowers. We added pearls over the flowers which draped beautifully around the edges.

To compliment the large round table in the bar area, we made a larger urn display to match the other tables. Olivia and Nick placed photographs of their parents and grandparents on this table, which gave a truly vintage feel.

The top table was decorated using a collection of silverware, with small clusters of white flowers.
And a matching cluster of white flowers for the cake.

There are so many beautiful images, I have to share them with you!
Thank you Binky Nixon Photography, who never fails to provide stunning images.

A sparkling day at Horwood House

Kristy was great to work with, she was very open about not knowing exactly what flowers she'd like but knew the look she wanted to achieve. We worked together to come up with a luxurious design of blue and white Hydrangeas, cream Roses and tall wandering Willow draped with chandellier crystals.

The bridesmaids wore pastel blue dresses and the blue theme continued through the flowers.

The flower girls held pomanders of blue hydrangea and ivory Spray Roses.

Kristy had the reception room decorated with ivory drapes and had lighting behind for even more sparkle and magic.
The room looked beautiful!

Colour crazy at Mentmore Golf and Country Club

Bright and fun is the only way to describe these wedding flowers - with clashing brights and interesting textures, Laura was very adventurous with her flowers and wanted them to really stand out.

Her styling was 50's and it was perfect for her. With her tea length dress and sharp hair style, I loved everything about Laura's wedding.

I only have a few images but I hope you enjoy looking...

Thank you
